The research company reveals that the market will see double-digit growth CAGR of 11.5% from 2022 to 2027, an increase in revenue of around US$12.9 billion (€11.8 billion) over that period. The latest report on the BIM software market from UK-based Cambashi forecasts it will grow to a value of US$30.7 billion (€28.2 billion) by 2027. The core of BIM lies in creating, using and exchanging these digital models among stakeholders. It aims to support the decision-making process during an asset’s life cycle, all the way from inception to demolition. BIM is a collaborative process that employs digital 3D models of building and infrastructure assets’ physical and functional characteristics.
